Photography Equipment Glenn currently equips: 2 Canon Digital Rebel XTi digital SLRs Canon 50mm/1.4 lens (portraits) Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L II lens (wide angle) Canon Speedlite 580EX II Electronic Flash The 50mm is the pro's choice for shooting portraits; the 16-35mm is the pro's choice for wide angles; both are fast and superb for capturing people in those crazy, low-light situations. Glenn also carries a third, backup camera: a Canon G6, and a huge assortment of CompactFlash save cards and extra batteries. Glenn always captures his images in the RAW format for maximum flexibility for working the image later in Photoshop, and most of the time he brackets his shots (2 extra shots - 1 slightly more shadow, 1 slightly more highlight) so that he can always make even more choices later. Since most of his photo-art uses the HDR technique, Glenn also uses Photomatix as a plugin for merging his bracketed exposures for his postwork with Photoshop CS3.
